Santa Barbara Triathlon - Barbara Warren
Barbara Warren

It is with great sadness that I share the devastating news to those of you who may not yet know that world-class triathlete Barbara Warren has passed away due to injuries suffered while participating in this year's event. Barbara was an outstanding sportswoman and an inspiration to the athletic community and her absence in it can never be filled. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Tom, her sister Angelika and her daughters Ingrid and Katrin, as well as their extended family and beloved friends. We wish them all peace and strength during this difficult time.

Many of you have expressed an interest in helping us to create a meaningful way to continue to honor Barbara's memory. At an appropriate time we will reach out to the family and determine together the best way to achieve this. In the meantime please join us in honoring this family's privacy.

If you would like to send a card to Tom Warren, please call our office and we will give you a mailing address.
