Sprint Courses

Parent Child: This division is designed to provide parents the option of participating with their child during the event.

NEW FOR 2008 - All parent child participants will go out in one wave. The Parent Child division will be the last wave of the weekend. It will go off after the final Women-Only Sprint wave. This differs from previous years when there was a Parent Child division in both the sprint events. Entry into the Parent Child division is open to male and female participants.

The Parent Child division was designed to encourage family participation and allow children under 15 to participate with some assistance.

All Parent Child Participants must fill out this waiver.

Parent and child will be going out in the same wave and are required to participate together throughout the event.

The results will reflect the child's name only.

* If you or your child wish to participate for an age group plaque then this division is NOT for you.

Each child finisher will get a finishers medal for their completion of the event.

As a parent, please use due care during the event.

Recommendations:

Parents should swim on the outside of the group so that children are less likely to get bumped into.
Be aware of other smaller people on the bicycle course.
Make sure you and your child focus on the event and other participants around you.
