More information:

What time do I need to be out of the transition area and ready to swim?
Your transition area should be set and you should be ready to swim when the first wave in your event is scheduled to begin. Wave times will be posted at packet pick-up and on website several days before event..

Sunday participants should note the following:
Co-ed Sprint Athletes: You should be aware that you will not be able to enter back into the transition area until approximately 9:00am. This is due to the fact that the Women-Only event will still be going on within the transition. We will let you in as soon as it is safe. You should prepare accordingly. Set some warm clothes aside (outside of the transition area).
Women-Only & Parent/Child Athletes: Your event begins when the Co-Ed athletes are all out of the water; your exact start time is difficult to determine. We have estimated it at 8:00 am. You should be out of the transition area and at the start line by 8:00 am. Packet Pick-up/Check-in closes at 7:30 am. Don’t show up late and spend too much time in the transition area. We’ll start without you – we won’t want to, but we will.

Post Event Party, Fun, & Food:

When you’ve completed the event you’ll finish on one of California’s most beautiful beaches. We’ll have music, lots of triathlon gear, vendors and great food to celebrate your achievement. Plan on hanging out and enjoying Santa Barbara. You might even decide to play a little volleyball on one of the twelve courts just up the beach.
